Join North Carolina public school auxiliary service leaders to network and learn about public school maintenance, facilities, transportation, and nutrition services and growing auxiliary service leaders in these areas.

In an effort to bring the best ideas forward, share lessons learned, and to create a leadership pipeline in the area of auxiliary services, we are inviting school and district leaders along with auxiliary services employee to this event.



This event is hosted by Piedmont Triad Education Consortium.

Registration is open to leaders of all North Carolina public school districts.

Piedmont Triad Education Consortium is a North Carolina Regional Education Service Alliance of 17 public school districts - Asheboro City Schools, Caswell County Schools, Chapel Hill/Carrboro City Schools, Chatham County Schools, Davidson County Schools, Davie County Schools, Guilford County Schools, Lexington City Schools, Montgomery County Schools, Mount Airy City Schools, Randolph County Schools, Rockingham County Schools, Stokes County Schools, Surry County Schools, Thomasville City Schools, Winston Salem/Forsyth County Schools, and Yadkin County Schools plus the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

From behavioral threat assessment to addressing common challenges in response to an active shooter threat, if one does manifest, this session will examine those concepts and how they can be applied in practice.

Unilike certified professional development (PD), few - if any - districts have a formalized PD approach for classified staff. A framework for auxiliary services PD will be discussed to develop a proposal for a state-wide auxiliary services PD program.
This session will focus on the efficiences in school bus routing accomplished via TIMS - the state's Transportation Information Management System - and what the next generation of TIMS may look like.
The Brunswick County Schools Safety Procedures, with a focus on Unannounced Lockdown Drills and Safety Walkthroughs, help ensure that their school staff and students are as prepared as possible during a crisis situation.
