As the burden of the Medicare Advantage hearing aid benefits continues to grow, clinical strategies to adapt to these market issues are emerging. This course will review the market impact of Third Party Hearing Aid Benefit Administrators (TPA) on the hearing aid treatment plans and medical profitability. Clinical strategies will be introduced to help professionals understand when they should opt out of TPA hearing aid plans and when they should be “in-network.” Additionally, materials will be presented to illustrate what medical professionals can do to provide alternative hearing aid treatment plans and compete with this market channel.
