Seeing Healthcare Delivery Through LGBTQ+ Glasses
Nov 16, 2020 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM
I was raised in North Central Ohio and served 5 years in the US. Army. After getting out, I completed my bachelor's and my master's in Social Work, and am currently working towards my independent licensure. My experience has been in crisis mental health, inpatient psychiatric care, and medical social work. I am passionate about advocating for racial equality, people who are living with mental illness, people who are houseless, and people who have survived domestic or intimate partner violence, and sexual abuse or assault. I volunteer as a member of the Central Ohio Street Medic Collective, serving during protests or rallies, as well as working with houseless individuals who may need some care.
