Do You Remember? The Results of a Knowledge Retention Survey of Retail Food Handlers

Laura Wildey is the Senior Program Analyst in Food Safety for the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA). She is a passionate food safety professional with ten years of experience in both the private and public sectors of food safety management and regulatory enforcement. Ms. Wildey leads projects that support national Food Code adoption, promote active managerial control practices at retail, help prepare regulators for foodborne illness outbreaks and response, and works on projects designed to tell the story of food safety and its important role in protecting communities across the globe.
Ms. Wildey maintains her Certified Professional - Food Safety Credential with NEHA and is an International Food Protection Training Institute Fellow where she conducted research on the regulations and practices around cannabis edibles regulations in the United States. Ms. Wildey obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management from the University of Delaware and a Master of Science in Food Safety degree from Michigan State University.
