The Bloom Conference is organized by the Upper Room Community Foundation.
The purpose of the conference is to provide support to existing and emerging ministries in their journey to fulfill their Kingdom potential as 501c3 non-profit organizations.
To that end, this one day conference will offer a series of workshops including, Board of Director Selection and Development, Grant Writing, Fundraising, Donor Development, Budgeting and Business Planning, Strategic Plan Development, and Effective use of Social Media as a Marketing and Fundraising Tool.
We will start the conference with a time of worship, followed by our Keynote Speaker, Mr. Steve Avery, a former Pittsburgh Steelers running back, and current investment advisor and nonprofit leader.
Then we will have three 45 minute breakout sessions where our individual presenters will meet with those interested. We will end the day with a roundtable lead by 4 executive directors of successful nonprofit ministries.
