CCSPP Grant Cohort Series
Virtual Learning Series with training, tools and resources

The Community Schools Learning Exchange (CSLX) is thrilled to partner with Collective Agency to present the California Community Schools Partnership Program (CCSPP) Grant Cohort Series – a 100% virtual series to help school and district leads submit a well-designed Implementation Grant proposal for the CCSPP’s 2024-28 cohort.

Joining us means getting:

  • An overview of and support for putting together a strong CCSPP Implementation Grant application, including resources that map key activities to a timeline, support in identifying and organizing artifacts, and a punch list to ensure that you complete all grant application components on time and to specifications.

  • Time to ask questions of and learn from CS practitioners and leaders who have successfully written several CCSPP grant applications.

  • Strategies for using the grant application process as a way to set a solid foundation for continued CS development, including identifying your district-wide strategy and using the CS framework to move towards alignment and coherence across initiatives and efforts

  • Strategies for engaging a broad group of stakeholders in developing the CCSPP Implementation Grant application – and your CS efforts.

Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions

Who, specifically, is this for?

The CCSPP Grant Cohort Series is geared specifically towards people at the LEA-level who will be primarily responsible for completing the CCSPP Implementation Grant application. If the person within your LEA who will be preparing the grant application is not the same person who is leading your LEA’s CS development, then you should plan on having both people attend.

How many from my team should I bring?

We are limiting attendance to three people per LEA. We’d recommend bringing the person/ people who will be responsible for writing the grant and the person who leads the district’s community school work.

How much does it cost?

The fee for four sessions in the CCSPP Grant Cohort, plus two additional Office Hours is $995 per person.

I’m looking for personalized support with my grant proposal. Will I get that here?

Yes! Along with the four, 90-minute sessions included in your registration, all registered participants will have access to attend two optional “Office Hours” sessions with facilitators. Office Hours are designed to provide additional time for participants to ask questions and dig into topics that are specific for their LEAs, communities and schools.

What if I want more one-on-one support?

The CCSPP Grant Cohort Series aims to provide you with a comprehensive set of tools, resources and guidance to support your CCSPP journey, but we understand that some of you might like extra help outside of this. Send us a note at love@cslx.org so we can discuss other options.

What if I want to attend some, but not all, of the sessions offered in this series?

Missing one session will mean losing context that is necessary as you participate in subsequent sessions. If you are able, we highly encourage you to attend the full series. Questions or concerns on this? Send us a note.

How can I access workshop recordings, and the other materials or tools we discuss once we’re done?

Registered participants will receive the materials and resources we cover through a shared Google drive.
