Difficult but Critical Conversations
April 17, 2024  ·  Western Region Education Service Alliance (WRESA) Office

Many people do their best to avoid conflict at work. As leaders, we know that avoiding difficult conversations doesn’t make them go away and in fact, engaging in them can substantially improve our work culture. Join NCPAPA and Dr. Steve Bingham for a day-session focused on improving your communication skills to engage in difficult conversations productively.

By the end of this session, participants will:

  •        Understand why improving dialogue is important
  •         Understand the characteristics of effective communication so that intended messages are sent and received
  •          Understand the Crucial Conversations® Model, so that a framework for improvement is applied
  •          Understand LEAD dialogue tools, so that skill development may be coached
  •        Initiate dialogue around difficult workplace issues identified by you and your team
