GENERAL ATTENDANCE FAQ
COVID-19 GUIDELINES FOR ONSITE DURING THE FORD MDA ANNUAL MEETING:
While onsite at the Ford MDA 2024 Annual Meeting in Carlsbad, CA, we will be abiding by the guidelines set in place by the State of California and the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort, Golf Club & Spa at the time of the program. Currently, there is no Mask mandate or Vaccine requirements for guests at the Park Hyatt Aviara, but if this changes prior to the start of our program, Ford MDA will abide by any guidelines that are put in place to allow us to host our program. Notifications will be sent out of any changes to this policy.
Our guests are welcome to wear Masks and we expect that all guests will respect the choices and comfort level of one another if they choose to do so. Masks will be available at the Ford MDA Registration Desk if needed.
We will also ask that any guest that feels any symptoms of COVID-19 or any other illness, or knows that they have been recently exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, excuse themselves from the program, or if already onsite, quarantine themselves in their Hotel room and notify the Onsite Meeting staff to discuss next steps. Symptoms include but are not limited to fever, cough, body ache, sore throat, fatigue, new loss of taste or smell or any feeling of being unwell.
HOW DO I BOOK MY HOTEL TO ATTEND IN PERSON?
All guests must book their rooms at Park Hyatt Aviara through the following Link: Ford MDA Meeting Hotel Booking Link
Rooms must be reserved before Friday, May 17th or room rates may increase.
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR THE CONFERENCE?
Dress code for entire event is Business Casual.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS A SCHEDULE CHANGE?
Any schedule changes will be communicated to all attendees as early as possible. Small changes may be made to the agenda as it gets finalized but they should not affect your travel or participation in the event.
WHAT MEALS WILL BE SERVED AT THE CONFERENCE?
Starting on Wednesday, June 12th, Lunch, afternoon break and a Welcome Reception will be available. On Thursday, Breakfast, Lunch, Reception, Dinner and Breaks will be provided. On Friday morning, Breakfast.
DO MEETING ROOMS HAVE WIRELESS INTERNET?
Yes, all sleeping rooms and meeting space at the Park Hyatt Aviara have basic wireless internet. In the sleeping rooms, you will access the internet using your room number and your last name. If you need increased bandwidth (such as for streaming HD Video) it will be available from the Park Hyatt Aviara for an additional daily cost.
