Join us at the Charlotte Rhoades Park and Butterfly Garden, July 8th at 11:15 a.m. for storytime & nature journaling with Rebekah Lowell, author and illustrator of the picture book Catching Flight. Rebekah will read her book and then we’ll head out to the garden to do nature journaling and drawings of birds, plants and creatures! Registration for this event can be found here. Participants will receive a free signed copy of the book courtesy of Island Readers & Writers.

Suggested ages 6 and up, and grownups should plan to attend as well. This is not a drop off event.

Bring your favorite art supplies if you wish but we will have some available as well. Parking is limited.
