Join the Pantex Innovation Challenge, where students can create innovative solutions to challenges posed by the Pantex Plant that are directly related to national security. This isn't just a competition; it's a chance to work on problems that have a real-world impact. You'll also have the unique opportunity to interact with Pantex employees, gain valuable insights into the world of national security, and discover exciting career opportunities.
The Pantex Innovation Challenge invites all students with an interest in STEM-related fields. Teams will be formed during the event around problem sets provided by Pantex employees, and the top teams will win cash prizes!
1st Place Team – $5,000
2nd Place Team – $3,000
3rd Place Team – $2,000
There will also be other opportunities to win prizes throughout the event!
The 1st and 2nd Place teams will be invited to compete in the Pantex Innovation Showdown against teams from Amarillo College and Texas A&M University on November 6 at the Pantex Plant. This includes paid travel expenses to Pantex, a tour of the Pantex Plant, the opportunity to meet with Pantex leadership, and a chance to win additional cash prizes!
