Note: This webinar was originally scheduled as part of our Virtual Fall Conference in October. Due to illness, it had to be rescheduled and is now being offered as a stand-alone online program. Everyone who signed up for this program in the fall has been automatically registered and does not need to register again.
About the webinar
Start the new year with a refresher on the why's and how-to's of monthly giving. Public radio stations have been using this model effectively for years, and it's an approach that's been growing in popularity. Monthly giving not only provides regular, predictable income for nonprofits, it also builds loyalty. Every charity strives to have high donor retention, yet retention rates for new one-time donors are below 30% and around 45% for existing one-time donors. Monthly giving, which has retention rates of over 80%, is one way to keep donors giving for longer. Using tried and tested examples, this webinar will guide participants on what they can do to start or improve their monthly giving program.
