The National Center for Community Schools at Children's Aid is excited to offer Community School Coordinator Boot Camp, a professional learning opportunity that's designed specifically to support the role at the heart of community schools.
While coordinators go by different titles — “Site Facilitator,” “Hub Coordinator,” or “Community School Director,” to name a few — it’s never been more important than now to support their skill-building and development, as a growing number of school districts across the country are adopting and scaling the community school strategy.
Held virtually over four half-days, Coordinator Boot Camp will provide a series of cohort-based sessions designed to help participants:
Gain foundational skills and knowledge for success as a coordinator
Develop an action plan to effectively lead community school work
Grow a network of peers for ongoing support and partnership
To learn more, check out our Agenda at a Glance.
In order to ensure a meaningful and interactive experience, we will have a limited number of slots available. Also, please note that this opportunity is intended specifically for site-level community school coordinators (or equivalent titles).
Now more than ever, community schools are the right strategy to support students, families, and communities. We welcome you to join us – register today!

Who Should Attend?
All playing the role of community school coordinator are encouraged to attend. Boot Camp is especially helpful to coordinators who are new or have intermediate-level experience. Supervisors of coordinators, school principals, service/program provider staff, district personnel, and other non-coordinator should attend Community School Fundamentals instead.
