The CS Coordinators Learning Series: Real Skills for Real Schools
October 18th (virtual) + October 19th (in-person) + November 1st (virtual)

The Community Schools Learning Exchange (CSLX) is thrilled to present the Community School Coordinators Learning Series. This three-part, hybrid workshop is aimed at giving Community School Coordinators the skills, knowledge and understanding they need to be successful in their roles, across two, 2 ½ hour virtual sessions and one all-day, in-person session in Redwood City, CA (30 minutes south of San Francisco).

Joining means getting:

  • A shared definition of community schools for Community School Coordinators (CSCs) and their teams;

  • Clarity on the role that CSCs play in their school communities to propel community school (CS) work forward;

  • Practical insight into the enabling conditions of successful community schools, including building trusting relationships, fostering shared leadership, and using data to guide your decisions;

  • A grounding in the varying roles and responsibilities that successful Community School Coordinators need from the teams they will build and lead;

  • Strategies for applying your learnings "IRL" ("in real life," as the kids say); and,

  • Help roadmapping the Community School Coordinator’s priorities and activities throughout the course of the school year.

CS Coordinators will be held on the following dates.

  • Wednesday, October 18: 9am-11:30am (virtual)

  • Thursday, October 19: 9am-4pm (in person, lunch included)

  • Wednesday, November 1: 9am-11:30am (virtual)
