On November 7, 2024, NYSAFAH will host its Annual Awards for Excellence & Innovation in Affordable Housing Development at The Yale Club in New York City. We are accepting nominations for projects placed in service on or before November 7, 2024 and for non-profits and MWBE's and innovators that have excelled in their development or industry role over the past twelve months.
- Project of the Year - Separate awards are given to projects in the downstate and upstate regions of the state.
- Non-Profit Partner of the Year - partners that have excelled in project completion, served their communities and special populations by going above and beyond, and have helped advance the industry over the past year.
- Innovator of the Year - industry professionals that have served in roles that led to the advancement of our industry overall (i.e. created replicable solutions to industry challenges that have now become standard practice or advanced the field of development through determination and unique problem solving efforts).
- Advocate of the Year nominations are made by the board of directors only to a tireless public servant or advocate of affordable housing legislation, policy or programming.
