The EU-funded international research and cooperation project Rhinodiagnost has investigated possibilities for establishing morphological and functional precision diagnostics of the nose. The project brought together CFD, HPC and IT researchers, Ear-Nose-Throat doctors and medical device manufacturers to work jointly to expand the possibilities for functional diagnostics of the nose. Various methods in the field of numerical fluid mechanics and high-performance calculations were tested, selected and adapted to constitute a solid basis for the future implementation of medical services, which include airflow and 3D simulation of the nasal cavities.
The Rhinodiagnost final symposium will provide our cooperation partners and research colleagues with an overview of the results. We invite you to an inspiring afternoon of online presentations and discussions.
